We would like to express our sincere appreciation to
those that attended our workshop on crime prevention, the
general body meeting and the Christmas celebration. For those
who missed these events, the details are updated in our website.
2006
ELECTIONS
1. The General Body has elected an Election Commission,
comprising of Mr.Tony Varghese, Mr. Vincent
Markose , Mr.Liju Mannual, whose contact details are
given below. The Election commission has informed us that the
2006 Elections will be held on the
4th of march 2006.The members will have an
opportunity to pay their subscription fees (10 pounds/ family)
on or before the election.
2. In the event of resignations from the council this
year , the General body has suggested that all the candidates
must file a signed Good practice Declaration of commitment to
the Election Commission, along with the nomination papers.

PracticeDeclaration
If I am elected, I
will not fail to attend any three meetings of the Executive
Council and/or resign from the council for reasons other than
being away from the country or being hospitalized. I also agree
to refrain from defaming other candidates during Election
campaign.
3.The General body has decided that all candidates should
submit the fee of 5
pounds along with nomination.

As explained in the news letter, this Council is stepping
down with the hope that we have been able to gain some
achievements, which we have bilt up on the work of our
predecessors.We hope that in the future, the MMA
Council will benefit from the
good practices and community initiatives started by us
and of course, and learn from our mistakes too
