18^th June ---- Talk on Globalisation and Poverty

• Vote of thanks 

Any member who would like to view the amendments to the Constitution before the meeting, please contact the Secretary through e-mail. Also, if the members have any amendments to the Constitution, please inform the Secretary by atleast two days in advance.

19^th June --- Clothing Collection - As informed in the last newsletter, please bring your unwanted clothes (in reasonably good condition) in a plastic bag to the General Body meeting for distribution to the needy.

17^th September ---- Onam  Celebrations  

Onam celebration will be held at the Pakistani Community Center, Longsight,  from 12 noon to 10 PM with cultural perfromance, games and Onasadya.

Think ahead, plan and make it a memorable event. Suggestions are welcome!!

Badminton

Date   :18-06-05   Time : 10am to 1.00pm, Venue : Belle View Stadium,Longsight.

Fee     : (Doubles 5 pounds) (singles 3 pounds)

Football

Date   : 18-06-05  Time : 2pm -4pm, Venue  : Rushford Park,Longsight

Fee     : 1 pound per participants

Cricket

Date   :19-06-05   Time : 1.30pm, Venue  : Whitworth park, Rusholme

Fee     : 1 pound per participants

Chess

Date    :  Primary rounds, 11th and12th   from 6 pm 

              Semi final and Final     18^th from 10 am

Fee: 1 pound per participants (Chess Board will be provided and Rules & Regulations will be issued by the A & S Committee before commencing the match)

For chess, participants should register their names with arts and sports committee on or before 4.00 pm10/06/05. For all other events registration time limit is 13.00 hrs 17/06/05
