First of all, let us thank you all for the support given to the General Body meeting and the Sports Day activities. We are looking forward to a hectic schedule of events in the coming months, the details are given below.  

20^th August, Saturday – One  Day Family Trip

One day trip trip to LAKE DISTRICT is arranged for the members of MMA. The Trip will start at 8.00 am from Carmoor road and will return to the same place at 10.pm on the same day. Admission is only for fifty members on a first come first serve basis. Lunch will be provided and travelling expenses will be shared equally. Members who wish to join the trip, please contact Blessen Jacob (07859031661), Saji Pazhayattil (07808167980) or  Afsar Aliar (07841709257) on or before 7^th Aug- Approximate expense is £10 per person.

Logo and Caption Competition

We are conducting  two separate  competitions for LOGO and CAPTION for the MMA letter head. All contestants should take care of copyright regulations. The entries should be in an electronic format and should be forwarded to the Secretary on or before 30^th August. The best Logo and Caption will be selected by the executive council and the prizes will be distributed during the Onam celebrations.

17^th September ---- Onam  Celebrations  

Onam celebration will be held at the Pakistani Community Center, Longsight,  from 12 noon to 10 PM with cultural performance, games and Onasadya. The following members have been selected from the last general body to the following committees.

The committees will plan and coordinate the activities of Onam celebrations along with the standing committees of the Executive Council.     

October- Women’s Day

We are organising a Kerala Women’s Day with games, cultural activities at the West Indian Community Centre. This is an event organised by the women members of MMA, and is open for the whole family. More details in next news letter
