First of all let me thank all of you who contributed to the success of our family trip  to Lake District.    

1.ONAM PROGRAM

Our Onam celebrations will start at 12 Noon with ‘Athapookkalam’ competitions. Followed by this we have arranged a number of fun filled competitions like Vadam Vali,Pancha Gusti,Lemon spoon race, Musical chair..Etc and various cultural performances.

We cordially invite you all with your family to make this celebration, a memorable event. If you are bringing any guest with you, please ensure that you have paid a fee of £5 per guest and register their names.

2.UPDATION AND SUBSCRIPTION

Let me thank you for the overwhelming support all of you have given to the membership updation initiative. I am glad to say that we have finished 80% percent of updation and all the details are held in an electronic database.

I am also happy to inform you that on the basis of the opinion survey conducted along with the updation ss of the tour to less of the tour to lake district. drive, 90% of the updated members have agreed to pay the Manchester Malayalee Association a ten pound (£10) annual subscription to meet the day to day expenses of the association

The general body held on the 19^th of June 2005 at west Indian community centre have entrusted the executive committee to collect the subscription amount for this year (2005-2006) if the opinion survey is favorable. So we request you to bring the subscription amount with you on the day of the Onam celebrations (17^th September).
